OUR VISION

Cadell Primary is a unique, community driven school full of learning, laughter and friendship. We are committed to providing a happy, secure and stimulating environment where all children are motivated, valued, self confident and empowered to reach their full potential.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

To provide an educational programme that will develop in each student a passion and purpose for learning and a commitment to maximising his/her learning potential. 

At Cadell Primary we try not to concentrate on 'what to learn' and more on 'how to learn'.

We seek to instil the five core values:

Friendship – being in harmony with others by giving assistance and support

Respect – treating others with care and consideration

Honesty and Trustworthiness – being honest, sincere and seeking the truth

STUDENTS

Student participation in decision making is actively promoted through class meetings and the Student Representative Council. Regular assemblies which are attended by parents/caregivers and community members provide the students with the opportunity to show their work and share their successes.

CADELL PLAY CENTRE

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am – 12 noon, Play Centre is run for three to five year olds in readiness for school.

Play Group which is also held at these times, is available to pre-three year olds. This is supported by parent help.

Play is one of the very important parts of growing and the Play Centre enables this to occur whilst parents/caregivers can support one another through discussing observations and changes taking place with their children.

SCHOOL FACILITIES AND SERVICES

Cadell Primary School fosters a very caring and nurturing environment that can only be found in smaller schools where staff are able to interact with every student on a daily basis.
